Instead they are saying "see this great feature you love? Now you have to consent to allowing us to share your transaction data to use it".
If they are going to insist on sharing transaction data they should be paying us, not the other way around. Where does it end? They want me to pay a lot more for the product (ok, products cost $$) and now are selling MY transaction data to Quicken.
Now they are requiring Chase credit card users to share transaction data with Quicken in order to download transaction data for those accounts.
Is anyone else annoyed or otherwise concerned over the *requirement* Chase has put on their credit card accounts to share all transaction information with Quicken? If you don't agree to share purchase data with Quicken you can no longer download new entries/updates to the ledger as usual.įirst, quicken forced users to agree to an annual subscription, not previously required, to download transaction data.
